A passion for food

At Descent, we have a passion for fine food and wine.  We only use the finest ingredients and wherever possible, local and seasonal produce, such as Klosters smoked beef dressed with pumpernickel or countryside bread dipped into bubbling black truffle-scented Vacherin Mont d’Or, sourced from the Ferme de Val d’Isère.

We stock a range of excellent wines, but if you have any requests, however rare, we’ll do our best to track them down and have them ready for you when you arrive and, of course, there is always champagne on ice waiting for you and your guests.

Your personal chef will be a highly experienced professional, trained by Herbert Berger of 1 Lombard Street , one of only two Michelin-starred chefs in the City of London. And, rather than eat to a set menu plan, he will be delighted to discuss exactly what you want. For more formal dining, our chefs can create gastronomic magic.  If you want old favourites, classics or comfort food in front of the TV with the family, they can do that too.
